Jack, Thanks for your note. I called Lucid, the cache folks, and explained the problem. They say they can tell if a logical drive is a compressed driver or not. Interstingly enough, one of their programs that displays all disc drive is able to tell, but the control program has a bug, and they acknowledged it. I am going to call back in two weeks. If they don't have a projected time for release of a fix, back it goes under their money back guarantee! Regards, David
