#Zero Black
Hello Fellow Animators,
I have finaly made it. I have just started my own 3d animation
company in Raleigh NC, its called CYBER KIDS. (919)832-4774. PLUG PLUG.
I been running 3ds for about two years and I have just made the jump to
video. I am using a TARGA+ 64 going to a Panasonic AG-7750. The vtr is
being controlled by a BCD-2000A. After about a week of fussing and
a little help from a guy named Mark Chambers, Im finaly able to
record to video.
Now for my Question. My first project is a logo that will be overlayed
on to of other video. I brought a test tape to my customer and
he told me that the black background is not at zero black. He
said it is a some thing like 7.5 or .75. He say he will not
beable to do the overlay unless the background is zero black.
Does any one know to to do this. Do I need to make adjustments to
my vtr levels or do I need to use Alpha channel info?
Any help would be appreciated.
