The only viable political choices in America, IMHO, seem to be centre and right of centre (democrats) and right and extreme right wing (republicans) – there simply isn't any socialist party of any consequence. Therefore, Ted Kennedy was probably never more than liberal compared to world socialist figures. Whereas, in England you have definite left-wing (labour party), centre (social democrats/liberal party), and right-wing (Conservative party) – of course, each has it's own spectrum of moderates and extremists. However, Rush "MacArthy" Limbaugh seems like more of a "look-out! reds under the bed!" far right type, IMHO, and consequently worries me greatly. Maybe I'll listen to him a bit more and sift through his drivel to find out where he stands. Only thing is someone who calls his show "a brush with greatness" has really got off to a bad start with me, even if it is tongue-in-cheek.
