If you got the $250 CRMC-0005s (350ms access time), then your new drive IS
compatable with Photo-CD.
If you got the $199 CRMC-003s (the box probably only sez: CRMC) (800-1000ms
access time), then it is NOT compatable with photo-CD.
If the drive is already installed, then you must remove it again 🙁 to see
the model number. You won't find the model number anywhere on the
documentation or on the box.
P.S. I have the slower Non-compatable model. It works okay (a little
slow), and I have the drivers loaded high with Qemm 6.01. If you want to
see my config.sys/autoexec.bat, let me know. (p.s. I used Optimize to
load everything high…nothing tricky at all!)
