I have a LEADING EDGE 386-SL Notebook which has an external SCSI port connector. I just purchased the NEC CDR-25 EXPRESS. My problem is getting the computer to load the SCSI device driver to run the CD-ROM. LEADING EDGE included a disk with the files "ASPI2DOS.SYS" and "ASPIDISK.SYS" as well as "MSCDEX.EXE". The SCSI.TXT file says that the disk contains the ADAPTEC ASPI CD-ROM module for DOS. After four days and a plethora of hours of aggrivation and frustration, I am desperate for help. Calling LEADING EDGE and/or NEC gets me nowhere. Do you have any software or any suggestions? Each time I re-boot, I get the message "No SCSI BIOS installed." "No SCSI drives attatched." "Warning: No SCSI Host adapters detected." Any help whatsoever will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Fr. John.
