#Mistsumi 05S
I just purchased A Mitsumi 05S, and after some struggling got the driver to
read the interface card (the address dip switches had not been in the
default position.) The MSCDEX.EX seems to run correctly and it assigns a
drive number to the device. But every time I try to go to it I get a drive
not ready message. And the PLAYCD program doesn't get the drive to do
anything.
Does anyone have any experience with this. I suspect it's the ribbon cable
which which has a rediculously loose fit on the drive and card. Does it
matter which end goes to the drive.
Also, when I open and close the drawer the busy light flashes on for a
second and I hear motor noises. Is that common or might the internal power
cables be loose?
Any info would be appreciated.

PS Is it true this is photo-cd and cd-xa capable with special software?
What about multi session?
