I hope you forgive me for waiting a month to get back to you! I had the
problem with not being able to access my CD when I boot from the hard disk, but
can use it just fine when I boot from a floppy.
I am using MSCDEX driver ver 2.22 and the Mitsumi-supplied MTMCDE driver 2.1
The system hangs after acknowledging the CD as drive E: (it gets that far, the
last line of autoexec.bat before the "go to" (shudder!)
The system hangs so well that I have to reset or power it off to boot it again!
