mscdex
When I try to load a CD-ROM cache (CD Speedway) using its configuration manager
from within windows, I get a message that says "MSCDEX not loaded", yet when I
go to the DOS prompt (still in windows), it shows mscdex loaded high. Anyway I
can get Windows to recognize that it is loaded. MSCDEX is in the autoexec.bat
PATH statement. I have a 486/33DX w/ DOS6 and Windows 3.1 running in enhanced
mode. Any help appreciated.
