Help please– Recently purchased a Mitsumi (inexpensive!) CDROM and a Pro Audio Spectrum 16. I have DOS 6–NOT doubled–. I have installed the CD into the computer as well as the sound card. Between the two installation books, however, I seem to be at a loss as to which interface cables to connect to where. The CD will play from windows with the command "CD PLAY"-however, it won't quit using the onscreen control panel. The other options offered seem to work–change track, forward one, back one, etc. Also, which driver is to be used? The CD wants it's driver along with MSCDEX–the Pro Audio inst. disk installs still another driver (SCSI) and really messes things up:-(( Do I need to purchase and interface cable to connect the CDROM card to the Pro Audio Card? Sound is being channeled through a regular stereo system via AUX port.
