Don't find anything formal here, but I assume from a thread in this section
that you represent Future Domain Corp.? If so:
Just got a TMC850 kit, BIOS is 8.2, and the PowerSCSI! software kit; CD is a
TEAC CD-50, which I realize is not on the 'compatible drives' list. Would you
expect that it should work though? Or do you know for a fact that it won't?
The BIOS finds the drive when it scans at powerup; the CAM driver and ASPI
Interface will both load if they're in the config.sys; but the FDCD.SYS device
driver pauses for about 45 seconds, then reports "Driver not needed. No drives
needing support.", irregardless of interrupt, memory address, and existence of
other device drivers. TIA.
