Tim,
I did not see that message, but did see one posted by Phillips. They indicated
that JVC, Matsushita, Phillips and Sony are establishing a Video CD format
based upon the Karaoke CD standard ("White Book").
But, from what I gather, Shogo is working on a way to take this one step
further and compress the video.
