Dear Mickey Thanks for your reply. Here's two clues. The rug in one of the upstairs rooms is a map of the maze. Also, when your enter the maze, the maiden beckons you 5 times and then points to the right. That should give you enough to figure it out. I never was able to or needed to go out the door from the kitchen. I've finished the game, and enjoyed every minute of it. This game has more subtle clues than I realized.
