Music CD-R Tech. Anyone?

Jim, When you say "master Redbook audio from a DAT" do you really mean a "Master" or are you referring to a one-off (CD-R)? If the latter, then yes there are several packages which will make an audio CD-R and most of those work with DAT tape. If you really mean "master" then I'm not aware of any and I'm not sure why you'd want to. The mastering is usually done at the replication house. You may also want to consider a service shop (like ours) to handle the CD part of the process rather than doing it yourself. Unless you're planning to make a lot of one-offs you'll find it's cheaper.
