Problem With Gateway
Can anyone give me some pointers?
I am trying to use a T100 with an NEC BFU-35 CDROM on my Gateway 486DX33V local
bus system. The T100 and CDROM work on other PCs, but on mine I get a "not in
High Sierra format" when I try to to list the directory. I am using the TSLCD
driver that came with the T100, and the MSCDEX included with DOS6. The T100 is
set for:
Port 328
Parity disabled
ROM disabled (C8000)
DMA 1
No IRQ
The manual mentions that IRQ and DMA are not used (but I forget why). When I
run my system-check software, no DMA or IRQ use appears.
Thanks for any help…
.Steve.
