Dear Jack Can You tell me what is the meaning of the parameter: " /p:r " (Enables CD-ROM seek commands) with the Trantor SCSI driver for the ProAudio Spectrum 16? I am using a SONY CDU561 CD-ROM drive with that card. When I use the above mentioned parameter in my config.sys then, after loading MSCDEX (2.22) the busy indicator of the CD-ROM lights up and stays lit (no inserting or ejecting of caddy possible!) until I issue a DIR E: (E: is the drive letter for the CD-ROM). I get a "CDR101" error (when in DOS), cancel it, and thereafter I can work with that drive perfectly well. This error doesn't occurr, when I omit the above mentioned parameter. I am running a 486/33 with AMI Bios, CONNER CP3204, 3-1/2, 5-1/4 Novell NE2000, DIAMOND SPEEDSTAR, Mouse=COM1, MODEM=COM2, Logi Scanman-Card.
