Unfortunately, the more speed you have, the more you try to do so you never really catch up. Part of the art is dealing well with what you have. Photoshop is very expensive. If you are trying to do CYMK stuff for publication you might need it. However some of the Amiga image processing programs are very sophisticated that way. Most of the service bureaus that are available to me are Mac based and speak only Photoshop. If you mention the Amiga…. well I do, 'cause I don't care…. but it makes for weird conversations. The SF Bay Area has sort of a snotty Macintosh attitude. Even though I have an Amax (you can never explain *that* to a Mac snob) – I'd still rather be swimming in Amiga water.
