There is usually a lag with the Educational version from what I understand. No guess on price, but it will be reasonable. I've been playing with the GenCADMac version, and I think it's great for school use. Teaching CAD/design concepts would be very similar to Acad, and maybe easier. Comes with pre-built symbol libraries, and the 3D version does adequate 3D too. R@A
