Well, surprise: there are lots of folks having problems with "the latest
drivers" from Diamond. They apparently haven't done a very good job with the
Viper's drivers, I'm sorry to say. I monitor this forum daily (although I am
not a Nautilus employee), and I see a message from someone with a Viper problem
about once a week. I hardly ever see such notices about other cards. I am
sorry to be the bearer of such bad news, but you should at least know. <g>
It is true, by the way, that Toolbook does stress the Windows video standard
more than Corel Draw. I use both products, and have had occassion to test a
wide variety of hardware for my books. I would give Corel a "stress factor" of
about 8.5, and Toolbook a factor of about 9.5. <g> They are both very good for
trying to break video drivers, but Toolbook breaks more than Corel does.
