It might have a "standard" keyboard socket without a keyboard. And that socket might even have serial lines on it such that you could use it for a keyboard and a modem/slow network connection at the same time. There is little point in marketing anything in the US to compete against Sega/Nintendo. C= couldn't afford to produce one ad of their caliber, much less run it. And it'd be a big gamble. But it might sell in the US just on word of mouth and features. In Europe, Nintendo and Sega don't have a grip on the market. The console market isn't established there (people buy Amigas instead).
