Andrew, I sounds good but for the most part it's not happening. I _don't_ find that things are getting easier. I just bought a HD that came with NO paper. It said "Connor" and a model number. Didn't say "SCSI". Didn't indicate it's capacity. Nothing. All I had was a drive and confidence. 🙂 My modem manual was more disorganized, opaque and arcane than anything I could have possibly imagined. I've been communicating for years and am fairly knowledgeable but that manual sure made me feel like I wasn't. I thought, "God, what's a novice user supposed to do?" Saw a 486 in a store and the feature list said "Windows accelerator". So I want to know _which one_? But I know better than to ask the salespeople. Malcolm
