Refers to a MONTAGE feature, as opposed to Toaster CG's inability to do same.
As far as vendor support and 3.0 delays, Newtke may have gotten better about it
than they used to be, but I see posts up here all the time that leads me to
believe that their support for third party products is still limited to
hardware ony.
