Chris, The Opal(ized) version of Imagine 2.0 has a few bugs that supposedly is in the process of being fixed (I wouldn't hold my breath). It appears as though this version was thrown together rather quickly with several mistakes appearing in the Imagine.config file itself. I rewrote the .config file (with the proper screen resolutions) and uploaded it to the Opalvision BBS. As Louis mentioned, there is a problem where the QuickRender screen sometimes doesn't appear. This problem is intermittent and there are several variables that must be met in order for the quickrendered image to appear. As you may know, Imagine has user definable buttons at the bottom of the screen. I have also found that if you try QuickRendering by using one of these buttons, the QuickRender screen will NEVER appear (as opposed to being intermittent). Before Centaur began shipping their Opal(ized) Imagine, they created an Imagine Patch for their OpalHotKey program (included with OpalVision) for use with the original Imagine 2.0. I have found that using this patch in conjunction with a user defined button (to QuickRender) on the Opal(ized) version performs flawlessly (99% of the time) and still gives me the option of the "Use Opalvision" button in the Project Editor. OK, so if you're not using Imagine yet, this may not all make sense to you, but bottom line is – Yes, Imagine 2.0 will directly use the OplVsn board (either with or without the Opal(ized) version). If you have any problems with it, I'd be more than happy to help (either here or on the OpalVision BBS). Alan Henry – Digital Plastic F100-PW-200 Inside
