Tom,
I have about a dozen magazine subscriptions (computer, audio, video,
MIDI, recording, etc.) and most of them send me renewal notices 6-8 months
in advance. I have some 3-year subscriptions where they solicit renewals
18 months in advance. So I don't think Amiga World is doing anything out
of the ordinary, just as they're not doing anything out of the ordinary by
charging more for Canadian subscriptions. They're just doing what most
other magazines do.
