#IVS and the Vector
Dear All:
I recently solicited opinions about CSA and their Derringer. It seems now
that we'll be getting an accelerator with a SCSI controller rather than
one without. My reading suggests that that means either GVP or IVS
(Vector). For reasons I'd rather not go into, I would like to know more
about the IVS Vector, not the GVP's.
I would like to solicit user reports, pleased or displeased, in regard to:
1. IVS "Vector" 030 accelerator (ease of setup and use, reliability of
hardware and of software, speed, etc.). Only EC030? Usable with A-Max or
Emplant?
2. IVS themselves (reliability, support, availability, etc.)
