Hello, I am porting some C code to the MAC and having difficultly with the file i/o functions (write, lseek, open, read). They are not returning errors or setting errno, but they aren't performing the requested operation either. I've written small test programs that work fine, as soon as I test the code I'm porting it fails. For example, while trying to write 1024 bytes to a file that is currently positioned at the end of file write returns a zero. This should be the number of bytes written or a -1 for an error condition. The file is open for read/write and there is plenty of disk space, also both of these conditions should set errno and return -1. Is this something anyone has run into before? I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks, Rick
