"I am interested in comparing two folders full of files and receiving a list of differences between the files. "The compare utility provided with Think C seems to do what I want, except it it's default is to only compare 2 files. Does anyone know how to use the script menu command? I can't seem to find any mention of it in my Think C documentation. It's not documented, but here's some information I received a while ago from someone who spoke with the original author of Compare: The compare script is a text file with lines consisting of pairs of file names delimited by a tab. The utility will compare the two files named on each line. File names need to be either full path names, or partial path names relative to the directory which holds the compare utility (at least for system 7, which sets the default directory to the application's directory). I haven't tested it out at all, so beware and have fun. Steve
