C++ & Cross Platform
We are a small Developer of Custom Database programs. We are looking to
rewrite some of our programs in C++. A couple of The needs we have are cross
platform (Mac/Windows) compatibility and Multiuser Access on mixed networks.
Could someone(s) share with us the success and problems of developing for a
mixed platform. I have been seeing ads and such on the ability to write C++
code once for both environments. Just how far does this go in reality. The
names of some tools for developing databases in C++ would also be appriciated.
