Not directly, of course, we restore it to disk and then call it up. Like I said, it was the right decision at the time, and since the 8500 can read the 8200 tapes, it will provide a lower cost solution for some people. Haven't gone to the Abekas yet, when I find a client willing to pay for it I will. I've been real happy with the Laser Disk recorder, and there is nothing like having it in-house for test purposes! That's one thing that scares me, a lot of people just sending stuff off without a way to really see what they are sending first! And I see the lack of in-house testing availability hurting the industry as a whole. I guess that's why I'm a bit scared of the technology. I've seen way too many people having no idea what they are getting until it gets laid down by an outside firm, and then there is usually no time (or $$$) to change it. Greg Pyros
