#Sanyo GVRS-950
In my ever increasing quest to find the perfect (for me)
single frame animation VTR, I've come across the
Sanyo GVRS-950 ($2395). Not only does it have the
Single frame capacity, but it does SMPTE built-in, has
RS-422 and RS-232, and apparently is compatible with
a lot of "industry standards." Is this thing too good to
be true? Does anyone know anything other than what
I do, that it will debut at Siggraph (another reason I'm
sorry I can't go — hmmm, maybe I can go after all) and
be available for sale the first of September?
