DQ-50P for 5-6 is used price as was the 2750 for the 5850 ! dummy! <G> Dittos on quality difference and I did want your opinion on the +64 thing. I just don't see it as an option in the recording environment I previously mentioned and didn't understand why the big deal of the+ 64when it won't do any more in the application it is being requested for. I guess what I was driving at was if I got a PVW-2800 and used the targa+32 with component Y-C ($1300) input how would that compare with the PVW 2800 using an ATVISTA + encoder ($5200 guessing using my 4:1 as I've not actually priced encoders lately)on quality alone. << including the Yost Group ask for BetaSP and Vista Hi for their demo tapes.>> Well Gary did admit that since he now has one he has become a Beta SP snob. I don't recall his requiring thet the graphics board be a Vista though for anything sent to him. Paul, with my luck as soon as I can land that big one to justify Beta SP everybody will say "well if you don't have ATV, HDTV, D1, D, D33, etc it's not broadcast quality" see ya I've got to go over to the studio and do some animation now.
