I'm not an ATC manager so I can't claim any knowledge about ATC hiring
requirements. I do think that the school you dealt with was being
short-sighted about the 14,000 hour rule. Since the government considers
2,000 hrs/yr to be full-time employment, the school was requiring 7 years of
experience. 3DS hasn't been around that long!
You might try visiting section 11 of this forum, that's Educational Issues
and a lot of ATC people hang out there. It would be a good place to make
contacts.
