Tim,
I just purchased the Amiga version of the product. For more info you can type
GO AMIGAARTS and leave a message in the 3d rendering area. Real 3d has been
available on the amiga for 3 or 4 years. There are about 10 people in the forum
that use or are learning to use, they can answer most of your questions.
It is a very complex program, particle animation, liquids, gravity, collision
detection…. Someone mentioned that it renders much slower than 3d studio
release 2, tis true…. It probably renders slower than any renderer I have
ever seen, but then it is true ray tracing and B-Spline objects tend to bog the
engine down very VERY much.
To my knowledge this will be Realsofts' first pc venture here in the U.S., so I
would get plenty of info from real users before I jumped from 3d studio….
I just wish I could afford 3d Studio!!!
