Well CBM is doing a pretty good job of alienating their current
supporters. At one time, they said the 3000 was going to be the base
machine on which future technology would be based on. But then they
screwed the 3000 owners by coming out with the 4000 and not offering any
upgrade path. Then they have pretty much laid the hassle of getting a
4000's motherboard upgraded for the 4091 on the user's. And then they come
out with the CD32 instead of offering current Amiga owner's CDROM drives.
So if they keep it up, even their most loyal supporter's will get tired of
getting the shaft.
