I have it on good authority that the the there is a 1MB ROM in the CD32.
This contains the 512K v39 kickstart AND the full CDTV ROM. So in
principle CDTV software should run on the console. There are a few
caveats, however. If the software writes directly to the hardware, if they
use 68000 timing, they aint gonna run. Also they might fall over the AGA
chips. Finally, if they make use of some of the keys on the CDTV remote
controller, such as the numbers, that is also going to cause a problem. I
have had a few minutes hands on already, and hope to have one end of next
week for testing. Just to get your saliva going :-), there should be a
third, AGA-specific, Pinball title out for the console by the end of the
year.
