Bob – I'm not sure that you can get a PC that'll run windows fast enough to be tolerable at any price! However, the systems that you describe are available in most metropolitan areas for well under $2000. The point was not that PCs are cheaper, but that Amigas are more expensive than they need to be. CBM insists on keeping the initial price low by leaving too many things out that you need and forcing you to buy them as add-ons. Have you ever priced what a car would cost if you bought all the parts and assembled it yourself? – Charles
