Gracia.. I know about BIG boomers, I live just outside Dallas, Tx and there are times when not only do I have to shut down, I have to unplug everything. Right now I have a laser disk player that needs to go to the shop because I missed pulling the plug.. As to Gold Service I'm on my second 4000, the first one lasted a week and as to going inside, as long as I don't have to use a hot iron, I'm ok. In fact the other day I added a Toshiba 3401 external cd-rom drive and while talking to Asimware, I mentioned that it was internally terminated and that it was a pain as my tape drive was also. I was advised that all I had to do was open the case and flip a dip switch and that would take care of the prob. Now all I have to find out is which dip switch it is and like I said to the guy, you have to learn, it can be fun at times.. Eddie.Ski
