As a matter of fact, the CPU was a mechanical interpretation of a RS4000. It spun a wheel (made of lead) around a bar (made of steel) with no lubrication. If the wheel clicked the casing, it was a 1, if not, a 0. The machine's speed was clocked in RPM rather than Mhz, and this old beast clocked 40,000,000 RPM… if you didn't turn it off every ten minutes the steel bar would melt… We're trying to sell the design to Intel for the P6!
