Adib,
I've asked one of my local dealers about the Raptor a couple of times. He
keeps telling me to wait for the Warp system; "It'll be as fast as a
Raptor for half the price." He also seems to thing that their 'Light
Engine' rendering program will work with any LW scene.
Seems to me that if these guys were able to write a LightWave rendering
program that looked as good as LW they could make a fortune selling
versions for PC's and SGI systems. Why bother to build the Warp card when
you could make just as much on software?
As for Newtons Law, didn't the Dynamic Motion Module go through the same
thing? Save $80 if you order before it starts shipping. Scheduled release
date November, actual release date (wasn't it February?)
