GVP Tech, Okay, I've now tried all that you suggest (jumper 6 on A1230 to use s/w version of gvpscsi.device and jumper on/off Maxtor for the "spin up option" – they call it the Power Up Option) and I still get the messages 🙁 Any more suggestions? Kevin Flying AutoPilot from Surrey in the UK
