David, Thanks for the posting. We just got word from other sources that Jay had passed away. Indeed, we at Scala are going to miss him too. We hope to keep his last technological achievement (The Amiga), alive, well and growing in the future. In what form it will take, I don't know. Jeff Porter, whom all of you knew as Senior Engineer at Commodore, now VP of Engineering here at Scala, said in the July 1994 issue of "Video Toaster User" and I quote, "The technology will get licensed to a variety of people. There are many vertical opportunites in games and cable. The Amiga technology will be the 6502 of the '90s." Maybe so, maybe so.
