Hi John, thanks very much for the reply. There is definitely something in what you say because i've found that cooling one of the p.a.l chips ( I forget which one..) with aerosol freezer stops the problem for a few minutes until it heats up again. I've tried a new chip however, and this doesn't cure the problem. I'm wondering if the chip i'm using is not the updated version, assuming one exists. I might well try leaving a message on the CBM forum just in case one of their guys knows any more about the problem, that is if there is still anyone there given their recent problems.
