Iain, you do not mention what sort of cable you are using with your Epson scanner. We support two types of cables; the ASDG style and a faster cable designed by GVP. Regular printer cables do not work. What you will need to do to connect your scanner is connect using one of these cables, select EPSON as your scanner module, then select SCANNER from ImageFX. Wait (up to a minute) for the scanner menu to appear – WITH THE SCANNER TURNED OFF. The long delay is for broad compatibility with various scanner models and models of Amigas. Once the menu appears, select the Options… item on the menu. Change the cable type to whichever you are using. Go to PREFS and save your settings. Power EVERYTHING off then turn the Amiga and the Scanner on. Everything should work now. Kermit Woodall Nova Design, Inc.
