Hi Pete – Boy, you are going through almost an identical scenario as I did with tons of CFormViews in a MDI application. The problem I had initially was assigning menus to the views in the AddDocTemplate calls. This immediately ran me out of user heap. I wound up assigning bogus menus to the views and manipulating the real menus myself with MDISetMenu. Just make sure all menus get destroyed on exit, or you will get a user heap drop every time the app runs. The debug version of windows is invaluable in debugging resource leaks (comes gratis with VC++ pro).
