I don't know how VB handles calls into DLLs. I suspect that somewhere in your
VB app, you call LoadLibrary() or an equivalent. If so, the DLL gets loaded
when that call is made.
You might check with folks in the MSBASIC forum to see how VB does its stuff.
Or maybe someone will jump in here and bail me out…
