Yeah, I understand that the highest level of quality in the Flyer will consume
about 1 GB per 6 minutes of video; of course, to edit 54 minutes of source
material, it's gonna take TWO 9 GB drives. Still, the total system, if
delivered as described thus far, is gonna be way ahead of anything else out
there as far as value for the dollar is concerned.
It would really be great for the kind of work I'm doing a lot of right now,
which is producing series of training tapes. All are related and much of the
footage is used in more than one of the tapes in the series. Oh well, this
project will be long since finished by the time I get my Flyer, but I'm sure
there'll be others… Rather, there BETTER be others… :`)
