I have an application that always must run minimised (It's a control interface to some hardware). When the user attempts to "open it", i.e. by double clicking on the icon, pressing enter when the icon has focus etc. I want anouther dialog to pop up. I was doing this by responding to OnQueryOpen by posting a message to myself to create the dialog and retruning FALSE, however I added a OnDDECommand function to relate a different operation to an file type registered to my app and found that OnQueryOpen was being called automatically before OnDDECommand. Can anyone tell me if this is being done by windows or by the framework and is there any way to disable this??? Thanks Bill
