Israel, As always with SQL, this is determined internally. One of the purposes of SQL is to shield you from explicitely specifying the access path. In most production databases however, you can influence the optimiser. Usually either by the order in which you specify the tables or by giving 'hints' about the number or percentage of records you expect to qulify for a condition.
