>>PAR co-exist with the ATVISTA?… Hey Don C. I don't know if you got your question answered yet, but just in case you haven't, I'll jump in. The PAR works very nicely with the ATVISTA. (I have both) For me, it is the ultimate setup, since I use the ATVISTA for all rendering tests, switch to the PAR for animations, or single-frame thru the VISTA for better quality. (or when I feel like punishing myself) With the PAR, you can work without a framebuffer such as the VISTA or Targa, but I think it is much more efficient, less stressful, and a lot more fun to use a framebuffer. For example, with the PAR alone you can't overlay an image with a small rendered region to compare materials or lighting. JKJ
