Yeah, buddy. I think it would work OK as a "poor-man's" (relative, of course
<g>) frame buffer. It seems to me from when I played with it that another
small advantage to sending rendering tests dircectly to the PAR was the
"history" animation file you build.
I was going to call sometime soon when I had enough free minutes to make it
worthwhile! So far, ack!
Hey, a proposition, Mr Alan "Social Director" Iglesias. I tremendously enjoyed
the Siggraph ASOFT get-together you guys put on last year (with Iglesias
originals' nametags!). If it turns out that no one local to mid-Fla is
volunteers to set up an ASOFT thing this year, maybe we could set one up for
later in the week after we get there and scope out the area. You know, people
could give the secret password at the Adesk booth on Monday and be shown the
private notice for the party on Tuesday or Thursday, or something like that.
I'll be driving down with Bruce M. so maybe we could bring an SVHS deck. Just
need to find/rent a spot with a TV, etc. Think it would work?
