I'm not sure what you mean, but if you are saying that mastering on an Abekas
and copying down to VHS will look different than mastering on SVHS (or
anything else, for that matter) and copying down to VHS, I'd have to disagree!
VHS has a resolution of 240 lines, SVHS and everything else is above 400. I
don't think you'd see any difference whatsoever!
To quote myself <g>, "VHS is the great equalizer". Everything looks the same
when copied down to it! (it all looks equally bad!)
